Yokohama City University has a well-established system for welcoming and supporting international students. Through affiliation with the Graduate School of Medicine, we are able to accept motivated students interested in pursuing master’s or doctoral studies in the Bioinformatics Laboratory.
Please visit this website to learn more about our research activities, ongoing projects, and areas of interest. We encourage prospective students to explore how our research may align with their academic goals and interests.
Students interested in joining our laboratory or seeking further information about research opportunities, admission procedures, and available projects are welcome to contact Prof. Jordan Ramilowski.
Financial Support and Scholarships
All graduate students are responsible for securing sufficient financial support to cover tuition fees and living expenses during their studies in Japan.
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT; 文部科学省) provides scholarship opportunities for international graduate students. Applicants should contact the Japanese embassy or consulate in their home country for detailed information regarding eligibility requirements, application procedures, and deadlines.
Applicants are also encouraged to explore additional funding opportunities through their home institutions, external scholarship programs, and other available sources of financial support.
