現代において、プログラム化されたアルゴリズムに基づく人工知能が長足の進歩を遂げているとはいえ、基礎研究の領域では依然として人間の挑戦心と忍耐力が求められます。当研究室に新たに参加する学生には、可能な限りマンツーマンに近い形式で、実験手技の勘どころや仮説の構築方法を丁寧に伝授いたします。また、質の高い基礎研究を通じて論理的思考能力を養成し、将来の医学者および社会人として優れたキャリアを形成する一助となるよう支援いたします。

我々は、古今東西の文献を丹念に調査し、仮説を構築し、それを自らの手で検証しつつ、正しい科学を着実に推進してまいります。免疫学および微生物学の未解決課題に挑み、難治性炎症疾患や感染症治療への応用を目指して共に取り組んでいただける学生や若手研究者を歓迎いたします。
