Collaboration is central to our research. We actively engage with researchers both in Japan—including YCU, RIKEN, Kumamoto University, the University of Tokyo, and others—and internationally, with partners in Australia, the United States, Europe, and Asia.
We welcome new collaborations and are particularly interested in interdisciplinary efforts that combine computational biology, functional genomics, and clinical research. Our current focus areas include:
- Investigating long non-coding RNAs
- Modeling cell–cell communication through ligand–receptor interactions
- Applying AI models to gene regulation
- Analyzing clinical datasets
You can explore our ongoing research projects here. If you share our research interests or are exploring opportunities for collaborative work, we encourage you to contact Jordan.
Visiting Researchers
Researchers interested in visiting our lab will need to cover their own expenses. International visitors seeking funding are encouraged to explore the JSPS Short-Term Fellowship for Overseas Researchers, or funding opportunities available in their home country.
