■ Greeting from the Conference Chair
It is my great honor and privilege to host the 21st Annual Conference of
the Japan Academy of Transplantation and Regeneration Nursing on Saturday,
October 17, 2026, at the Kanazawa-Hakkei Campus of Yokohama City University.
At the same time, I am acutely aware of the significant responsibility
this role carries.
Together with the program committee, we are preparing to provide a meaningful
forum where clinicians, educators, and researchers can come together to
exchange knowledge and experience.
The theme of this year’s conference is “The Future Vision of Co-creation
in Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine-Exploring the Possibilities
of Regenerative Nursing.” While continuing to build upon the progress our
society has achieved in transplantation and regenerative nursing, we aim
to create a space where participants can look toward the future and explore
the importance of advanced practice, specialized knowledge, and interdisciplinary
collaboration within team-based medical care. We hope this conference will
offer a valuable opportunity to engage in active discussions from clinical,
research, and educational perspectives, share practical insights and the
latest findings, and deepen our collective understanding and learning.
Yokohama, the host city, is a historic port town where modern urban landscapes
blend beautifully with historical architecture. The city offers numerous
attractions- including Minato Mirai, Yokohama Chinatown, and the Red Brick
Warehouse- proving visitors a rich mix of history and culture. Along the
waterfront, scenic parks and walking paths offer relaxing natural surroundings.
Yokohama is also renowned for its fresh seafood and diverse food culture,
making it an appealing destination for visitors.
I hope that, in addition to gaining new knowledge through the conference,
you will take the opportunity to experience the many charms of Yokohama.
We sincerely look forward to your participation.
