Call for Abstracts
We welcome submissions that report on the research and practical initiatives
you are undertaking.
If you wish to present at the conference, please follow the procedures
outlined below.
■ Abstract Submission Period (Tentative)
May 1 (Fri) – June 3 (Wed), 2026, 12:00 noon (JST)
■ Eligibility & Conditions
Submitted work must be unpublished and aligned with the objectives of this
society.

■ Presentation Format
General presentations will be as delivered either oral or poster presentations.
Presentation files for oral sessions must be prepared using Microsoft PowerPoint
for Windows.
Details on presentation procedures will be provided in the conference program
and the abstract booklet will be sent later.
■ Submission Method
Abstract submissions will be accepted online only.
■ Abstract Preparation Guidelines
Registration of Presenter and Affiliation
Up to 10 co-authors and 10 affiliations may be registered.
Those currently applying for membership should enter “9999” as the membership
number.
Character Limits
Title: up to 100 half-width characters
Abstract body: up to 2,000 half-width characters
(Submissions exceeding these limits cannot be accepted.)
Figures and tables cannot be included.
Use generic names when listing drug names.

■ Acceptance of Abstracts
The review committee will evaluate all submissions.
Results of acceptance and reviewer comments will be sent to the email address
provided upon submission.
■ Ethical Considerations
1) Describe information in a way that does not identify individuals or
institutions.
Do not include initials, dates of hospitalization, or treatment periods.
Prefectures, municipalities, hospitals, etc., must be anonymized (e.g.,
“Hospital A”).
Avoid expressions such as “our hospital” or “our ward.”
2) If the study has received ethics committee approval, simply state that
“approval was obtained,” without naming the committee (e.g., “the ethics
committee of the affiliated institution”).
3) If ethics review was not obtained, both of the following must be included,
or the abstract will be rejected:
(1) A statement confirming that the study purpose, methods, and dissemination
plans were explained to participants and consent was obtained.
- Example: “Participants were informed in writing about the study purpose,
methods, and publication, and provided consent.”
(2) A statement describing efforts to minimize burden and disadvantage
to participants.
■ Conflict of Interest (COI) Disclosure
All presenters must disclose COI status for the past one year prior to
abstract submission, regardless of whether any COI exists.
COI categories include:
1.Advisory positions: annual compensation ≥ 1,000,000 JPY
2.Stock ownership: annual dividends ≥ 1,000,000 JPY or ≥ 5% ownership
3.Patent royalties ≥ 1,000,000 JPY per year
4.Lecture fees ≥ 500,000 JPY per year
5.Manuscript fees ≥ 500,000 JPY per year
6.Contract/Collaborative research funding ≥ 2,000,000 JPY per year
7.Scholarships/Donations ≥ 2,000,000 JPY per year
8.Affiliation with endowed chairs
9.Gifts or other compensation ≥ 50,000 JPY per year
■ Registration Method
You will be asked to enter your name, affiliation, email address, membership
number, and other details during abstract registration.
You may submit multiple times, but please ensure all identifying information
is entered accurately so the correct latest version is recognized.
■ Confirmation, Revision, or Deletion of Submissions
Abstracts may be edited until the deadline, but you must re-enter all information
from the start page.
Please keep a copy of your submission for your records.
To save changes, complete the save procedure on the screen and click “Submit.”
Once submitted, you cannot return to the entry screen.
Important:
The abstract booklet will print your submitted text exactly as entered,
including typographical errors.
To delete a submission, use the deletion function within the abstract submission
page.
■ Submission Completion Notice
A confirmation email will be automatically sent after your submission is
received.
If you do not receive the email, the registered email address may be incorrect.
Please resubmit or contact the secretariat.
■ Review Criteria
Abstracts will be evaluated based on:
・Relevance to the conference’s objectives
・Ethical considerations
・Clear statement of aims
・Clear description of methods or practical initiative
・Inclusion of results and discussion
・Overall coherence
■ Notes
Depending on your computer environment, you may not be able to register
from certain networks (e.g., hospital networks).
Please try again from a home computer or another accessible environment.
All required fields must be completed.
Submissions cannot exceed the character limit.
Access may be congested on the final day—early submission is recommended.
After the deadline, no modifications or deletions can be made.
