OUR RESEARCH
Welcome to Laboratory for Mass Spectrometry and Atmospheric Environment in Yokohama City University! Our group is interested in “atmosphere”, a crucial factor to maintain ecosystem in the earth. Many organisms are exposed by the atmosphere all through their life via breathing, and therefore, the atmosphere has a great impact on organisms. We study various gas-phase chemistry in ambient air using state-of-the-art mass spectrometry, which can contribute to further understand atmospheric chemistry and environmental sciences.
