The 2nd Online PBL Session with the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the face-to-face meetings are delayed to an unknown date. However, the YCU School of Medicine deems international education essential for our students. As a solution to this issue, the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) kindly offered us an opportunity to hold an online “PBL Hawaii Style Workshop” on March 22nd and 24th, for the second time after the outbreak of COVID-19.

Next-Generation Medicine (2nd International Online Exchange with TU)

On December 14th, the Schools of Medicine at Yokohama City University (YCU) and Thammasat University (TU) held the second International Online Exchange event. Upon seeing the successful outcome of our first event in 2020, both Schools of Medicine have agreed to repeat the program this year. The theme of the event was “Next-Generation Medicine”.

The Importance of Effective Team-Based Interprofessional Communication for Safe & Competent Patient Care (International Online Exchange with NUS)

The 2nd international online exchange event between YCU and NUS was held on November 12th, 2021. This event aimed at encouraging students from different backgrounds to exchange opinions and broaden their perspectives. We are proud of carrying out this event for the second time after the outbreak of COVID-19, in a situation where we are forced to keep social distancing from each other.
