Calcium dependent protein kinase (CDPK) (EC 2.7.1.37) consists of an
N-terminal kinase domain (homologous to the b subunit of
Ca/CAM-dependent protein kinase II) followed by four EF-hands. A
pseudosubstrate sequence and a CAM-binding motif are found at the
junction region between the kinase domain and the four EF-hands. A
membrane ATPase is one of the substrates of CDPK [61].
