The pCAST (CAST) clone from Solanum tuberosum (potato) encodes four
EF-hands preceded by 38 residues [16]. Its 2,3 linker is 23 residues
long. It is not in the same subfamily as PMAT from Arabidopsis, which
is not congruent with CTER; however, it is interesting to note that
both contain (Ser)5 in their N-terminal domains.
