Tips: Minato Mirai is a tourist area and you can enjoy walking around/to the pier. It’s not confirmed yet, but it will be fireworks at night on 9th Aug on the bay. A drawback to stay near Sakuragicho is that you should take JR line (or Metro Minato Mirai Line ) to get to Yokohama and then change to Keikyu Line. If you stay near Yokohama station, you can go to the main venue by Keykyu Line straightway and don’t have to change trains.
