One of the most exciting aspects of structural biology is the opportunity to visualize the beautiful three-dimensional structures of proteins—many of which have never been seen before. Why not enjoy the thrill of discovery and contribute to research that inspires wonder? Our laboratory is home to many enthusiastic students who are actively engaged in their research. We welcome motivated undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students who are eager to take on scientific challenges. If you are interested in joining us, please feel free to get in touch.
Our research focuses on the structural biology of the epigenome—the mechanisms by which DNA methylation and histone modifications regulate cellular identity and function. By elucidating the three-dimensional structures of key molecular complexes, we aim to understand how the epigenome is established and maintained. Since epigenomic dysregulation is closely linked to cancer and aging, we are also engaged in structure-based drug discovery targeting these pathways.
If our research interests you, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you!
