June 20-21, 2011: Workshop in Beijing
to examine "Environmental Cooperation Model for a Sustainable City"
Professor Ao of YCU is to lead the seminar in Beijing focusing on recent environmental concerns in China, including trans-boundary air quality management and sound material-cycle society. The workshop also targets the examination for promoting strategy-making for Citizens Participation Model, assuring the trends that NGO and civic groups become the mainstreams for promoting Environmental Cooperation Model of international cooperation. The participants will share the knowledge and wisdom on the topic, and discuss the Approach of the Environment coexisting of Ecology and Economy for a Sustainable City in Asia, through the presentations based on study results that the researchers in Asia, in Europe, and of World Bank have executed.
