New publication: Tsushima et al., M&#038;E"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Finally made it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our new research article by Tsushima et al. has just been published in <em>Microbes and Environments<\/em>. \uff08\u7b46\u982d\u8457\u8005\uff1a\u5b88\u7814 2023\u5e74\u5ea6\u4fee\u58eb\u5352 \u6d25\u5d8b\uff09<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This study reports a novel Mn(II)-oxidizing fungal isolate of <em>Periconia<\/em> that was found to produce distinctive Mn oxide nodules on its hyphae through Mn(II) oxidation and furthermore they adsorbed and immobilized coexisted aqueous copper. This is a collaborative research with <a href=\"http:\/\/tachibanalab.jp\/english\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the Tachibana Lab<\/a> in YCU (much appreciated!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tsushima, S., Nishi, Y., Suzuki, R., Tachibana, M., <strong>Kanaly, R.
